My goal is to capture you as you naturally are, along with the usual traditional posed photos. Each picture should be an expression of your personality and the feeling behind the moment. I want to tell the story of your day as it unfolds. This means capturing all of the moments, details, and people that make your day special in an unobtrusive and spontaneous way.
Yes! I will absolutely travel! I will go anywhere my cameras can go. I love traveling and seeing new places! No matter if you’re getting married here in Massachusetts, California or even Hawaii! My bags can be packed easily! Please contact me to talk more about your destination and travel expenses privately.
Absolutely! I proudly offer a 10% discount for all Military (both veteran and active duty) personnel, as well as Police and Fire personnel. Valid identification/proof would be required at time of booking to receive the discount. Thank you for your service.
I HIGHLY encourage all my clients to do an engagement session! The engagement session allows us to get to know each other better before your wedding day. You become more comfortable in front of my camera and I get to learn how you interact with each other, if you blink a lot (hey, it happens!), and which angles and types of poses might look best for you. By the time your wedding day comes, we definitely will not be strangers and you will be completely used to me taking a million pictures of you!
My calendar fills up very quickly so you should plan to book about 12-18 months in advance. If your wedding is sooner than that, that's ok! You can still check in with me to check availability!
Awesome! I am very excited to work with you! Send me an email with all your wedding information and we can talk pricing and I can answer any questions you have. Once we have agreed on a package, we can either schedule a time to meet in person or I can email you the contract that is required. You will need to sign the contract and send that to me along with a 25% retainer to secure your date. Once I have both the contract and retainer, I'm officially yours and you can check "find a photographer" off your list!
Absolutely, in fact, we encourage it!! Of course we have a mental list of images that we are sure to get at every wedding (for example, detail shots of the dress, the cake, first dances, portrait with parents, etc). If there are some specific photos you want taken or a few special family members/wedding guests that you want us to be sure and capture, please let us know and we will be more than happy to snap those photos. This is your wedding day and we want to make sure we capture the things that are important to you.
There is a whole paragraph about this stated in the contract, but gladly we can say it has not happened, and we have photographed every single wedding! If for an emergency or unforeseen reason that I (or your selected Lead photographer) can’t shoot your wedding, one of our AMAZING Associate Photographers would step in and cover your wedding. I guarantee you that we have backup plans for everything and will make sure you are taken care of in the event of an emergency!
If it's not a total wash-out, we can usually re-arrange your timeline to squeeze in portraits at another point of the day.. We also don’t mind getting wet, so if you don’t mind playing in the rain to make some fun portraits, we are totally down! If in the rare case it rains all day and your venue doesn’t have a good indoor option and you aren’t particularly excited about getting your dress, hair and makeup wet, we do offer a 1 hour “Rain Check” session to our couples so you don’t have to worry about not getting the beautiful bright and airy portraits you hired us for.
Absolutely! We encourage you to tell us what locations you want to take your formal photographs! This means a little extra planning to make sure there is enough time to take all the photos you want at all the locations you want, but it is totally worth it.
We will always check in with you about 20-30 minutes before we leave on your wedding day to see if there are any “OMG I forgot to get a picture with Uncle Bob!” moments. If the party is still hopping and you would like us to stay, of course we will! We don't have another event to run off to after your wedding. The standard rates will apply for overtime and will be invoiced to you prior to you receiving your wedding photos.
Most often, it would be me photographing your wedding (Christine). Typically, the photographer you meet with will be the photographer for your wedding. You may request to meet with a specific photographer; otherwise, we’ll make the decision based on availability, personality, language abilities, and your referral. For example, if Paul shot the wedding of your friend who referred you to us, he would be the one to photograph your wedding; otherwise it is based on availability and whose personality would best meet yours.
We take every measure to ensure consistent style and quality among our photographers. Each session/wedding is reviewed to ensure our quality and style are consistent. We trust that the quality and style of photography you receive will be consistent. However, we do tailor our shooting style and techniques to our client requests. For example, some clients may prefer a light and airy look while others may prefer dramatic lighting and shadows.
We take candid photographs of many guests during the reception, especially as guests interact with the couple as they mingle at the reception. Posed table shots can be arranged if requested, but please keep in mind that many guests are only seated when they are eating or listening to a speech. Most guests move around to mingle and dance, so table groups are often incomplete. Photographing tables involves asking guests on one side of the table to get up and stand behind people on the other side of the table. If posed table shots are a priority for you, We request that you participate in each group photo as guests will more quickly and easily gather for a photo with the couple.
We shoot with a full line of professional gear, and have backups for our backups should an issue ever arise.
Per our contract, I will deliver your online wedding gallery within 12 weeks at the latest. I promise I am working as fast as I can to get you your photos as soon as possible and generally you will receive your photos in about 4-6 weeks. I edit all of my weddings in the order that I photograph them.
With technology constantly changing (can you believe that the newest MacBooks don’t even take CD or USB’s anymore?), I now deliver all of your edited high resolution images via an online gallery download. This way you can download and make copies of your images on any media you prefer. I always suggest making back-ups of your images and asking friends and family to do the same.
Yes. I have several different types, sizes, and many other options to choose from. We can discuss this during our consultation.
Yes of course!! I will upload all your images to my Zenfolio site. Your guests can then get the password from you and access all the images to buy prints or download.
No. I shoot anywhere from 1,000 to 3,000 photos throughout your wedding day including multiples of each pose, event or detail, so I can be sure that I get a perfect shot of everything during your day. I have already carefully picked out the shots that I know you will want to see. Would you really want to see a picture of you with a not so flattering expression, a little one picking their nose, or countless shots of your wedding guests/wedding party blinking? I wouldn’t want to waste your time making you go through those.
Yes. All of the images I deliver will be edited using my signature style of post production. This includes color correction, exposure adjustment, elective B&W processing, contrast and vibrancy. All editing is done in-house by myself only.
I do offer rush processing (max two weeks post-wedding processing time) at an additional fee. If this is something you are interested in please let me know!
You can always print your photos via your online wedding gallery which are printed at my pro printing shop at an additional charge. If you would like to print your photos yourself, I highly recommend mpix.com for their low cost and high quality.
You don’t HAVE to… but most of my clients find me through word of mouth and referrals. It would be nice if a friend is wondering who took your beautiful photos and saw you give a shout out to Frozen In Time Photography on FB or @frozenintime_weddings on Instagram.
Wellll….. per our contract the answer is technically no. But I’m not a jerk about it. I spend a lot of time editing your photos, so it is a little sad to see them pink or green or super dark or washed out. If you do choose to do this, in this case I ask that you do NOT tag me on social media since it is not the product that I created or delivered anymore.
Feel free to contact me via my contact page, or just e-mail me at Christine.FrozenInTime@gmail.com
